Zoo Med's Hatchling Aquatic Turtle Food is a low protein, floating pellet food for all types of hatchling aquatic turtles like Red Ear Sliders, Painted, Spotted, Asian Aquatic Box type, Sidenecks, etc. Our food is low protein so as not to cause abdominal shell deformities as a high protein food would if used over a long period of time. Most aquatc turtles prefer to feed at the water surface. Our pellets float making it easier for them to locate the food.
